I made a cheap DIY VR Flight Seat for Meta Quest 3 (VR Flight Stick Avionic 4 + Folding Pipe Chair Adapter )
– Smooth, realistic joystick movement – with roll, pitch and yaw control
– Quest 3 native – works perfectly with Quest 3 controllers (Quest 1 & 2 compatible too!)
– Mounts to a cheap folding chair – sit comfortably with the joystick between your legs
– Play longer – no more free hand fatigue
– Quick setup – controller can be easily removed from the cup and slid back in
– Avionic 4 available – longer flight stick for better comfort
– Helicopter collective control lever

Everything is printed in PLA except the small rod it’s TPU. The joystick has smooth roll, pitch, and yaw. I’ve tested it with the Warplanes Series, Dawn of Jets, Aces of Thunder and it’s made a big difference in my gaming experience.

COMPATIBILITY:
– Meta Quest 3 & 3S (tested and optimized)
– Meta Quest 1 & 2 (slightly tighter fit)
– Works with any game that uses vr controllers: aircraft, spacecraft, mechs, …
– Tube diameter of folding chair is 22.5mm

Wider Range of Motion: A longer rod increases the physical throw (distance the grip travels), allowing you to fly with smooth movements from your elbow and shoulder rather than tiny, fatiguing twitches from your wrist.
Neutral Wrist Alignment: It prevents you from bending or cocking your wrist awkwardly during long sessions.
Relaxed Posture: Centering the stick between your knees mimics real aircraft layouts, letting your forearm rest comfortably while keeping your shoulders relaxed.
